The heating plate offers the tiny animals a safe, dark shelter and thus replaces the warming plumage of the mother hen. The chicks have to leave the warm plate to eat and drink, which means they harden themselves faster. Unlike a heat lamp, the plate does not produce any light disrupting the day-night rhythm of the chicks. Moreover, the energy consumption is significantly lower compared to infrared lamps.
The 30 x 40 cm heating plate can be used for clutches with a maximum of 30 chicks. The heating plate is also available in other sizes.
The chick warmer made of high-quality plastic is well insulated so that no heat is lost. The aluminium underside ensures even heat distribution. Note: There is no risk of burns. Thanks to stable feet with rubber caps, the plate cannot tip over.
The feet of the warming plate are infinitely height-adjustable so that the plate can grow with the chicks. The sides can also be adjusted to different heights so that the chicks can choose their own space with the temperature best for them. Thus, the plate can be adapted to different types of poultry.
When the chicks have grown in age, the temperature can be lowered by adjusting the height of the feet. Furthermore, the plate is equipped with a continuous temperature regulation and display screen. The flexible regulator helps you to wean the chicks from the heating plate and is perfectly suitable for fluctuating outer temperatures.
For the safety of the chicks, the chick warmer is equipped with an LED indicator light and a temperature and resistance fuse.
