This garden composter is made of powder-coated metal grids, making it especially robust and resistant against any weather conditions, whether it is rainy, snowy, or sunny. The assembly or disassembly of the compost bin can be done without any tools. Simply interlock the metal lattice. The grilles allow for the so-called classical open-air composting.
Once your organic waste filled into the composter, the metal mesh will hold the compost pile together. All you have to do then, is to wait for nature to start the degrading process. Fungi and bacteria will start to decompose the accumulated waste. In this process, energy is released, which creates temperatures of up to 70 °C inside the compost pile. These temperatures kill germs and destroy harmful substances until only the valuable nutrient matter is left. To ensure that all the waste is being decomposed, the open-air pile should be aerated by turning it every few months.
