• can be mounted on an oil storage tank, by this means the rising oil mist condenses inside the filter and drips back into the oil tank
You can thereby protect your engine, vacuum pump and carburetor from dirt and consequently from damage and wear.
This open air filter is simply installed on the valve cover of the ventilation system and that´s it - this becomes necessary if for example in open air filters or racing air filters respectively, the valve cover -, crankshaft ventilation is not supposed to be re-attached. If you change something on the engine and then instead of leading the crankshaft ventilation into the engine, but in a oil tank, this tank would need a ventilation, on top of which the power air filter is set - that´s a cool race optic and protects against dirty oil. It also makes sense, if you intend to change the G-loader WITHOUT returning into the loader!
Being delivered almost pre-finished, this filter can practically be installed. What remains to do is to lubricate the special filter cotton, so it´s ready to use.
We have installed two of our sport filters on the crankshaft ventilation of a VW Corrado G-60 and a Polo G-40 by the means of which a simple and excellent ventilation of the engine has been achieved.
You receive a silver-coloured power air filter in silver-coloured with hose clamps (7/8").
