The XPOtool automatic greenhouse window opener is made of durable aluminium and resistant stainless steel and is suitable for any standard glasshouse. The solid vent opener has a lifting capacity of max. 7000 g to open an close your greenhouse roof fully automatically, even when you are away.
The opening and closing mechanism can easily be mounted to the cold frame by using the supplied clamping fittings. No drilling is necessary.
The heat senvitive cylinder reacts to temperature changes: it automatically closes the window when the temperature drops to a certain level or opens the window when it is hot. The air circulation resulting from this process is ideal to prevent the humidity level in the green house from getting to high. That way, your plants are protected against typical hothouse diseases.
The window opener operates completely without electricity or batteries. The hydraulic cylinder contains a heat sensitive fluid that expands or contracts depending on the temperature. The chainging of the fluid's volume causes the mechanism to open or close the window.
In order to assure the long durability of your automatic greenhouse window opener, we recommend to store the cylinder during the winter months to protect it from frost damage.
