Therefore, the plate is slightly concave so that there is no risk of something dripping over the edge into the fire or blaze. Thanks to the constant heat output, even larger barbecue food is regularly heated on this 44 cm plate which makes for a perfect and easy result.
The grill plate includes two sets of legs in different lengths. Depending on the application, you can choose the 20 cm legs or the longer 32 cm legs. These can be unscrewed and removed and screwed on which facilitates transport, but also augments the application range.
Made from cast iron, the plate has an outstanding heat distribution and allows even barbecuing and best results. In addition, the pan has been pre-treated with vegetable oil to create a non-stick surface. With every frying process, this effect is even improved, because it forms an additional non-stick layer with frequent barbecuing and frying.
The useful wooden handles do not absorb the heat of the plate and do not pass it over. Thus, handling the grill plate is safer. However, keep in mind that the handles, despite their material, might absorb the heat of the cooking zone in the case of its being directly beneath the handles. Protect your hands accordingly.
Care tips:
Only clean the grill plate with hot water, do not use any cleaning agent. For the protective grease-layer is meant to remain on the plate. Do not scratch the surface while cooking or cleaning and always store the pan in a dry place.
