The Ecopower+ filter is an external filter that can be used above ground or hidden in the ground at the top of a waterfall. The Ecopower+ 12000 is suitable for ponds with a size of up to 12000 l without fish and 6000 l with fish (max. fish size 254 cm). Debris from the pond is filtered through the fine mesh foam for an initial cleaning after it reaches the bottom of the biomedia filter. The Ecopower Plus series features the unique Kaldnes biomedia, which has a very high binding surface and ensures continuous renewal of healthy bacteria. These bacteria are necessary to break down the harmful dirt particles and convert them into useful substances for the pond.
The integrated UVC lamp has a 12 watt lamp to combat "green water" caused by green algae. The result is excellent cleaning performance for a clear and healthy pond.
