Kajo-Universal Vacuum Pump Oil 46 for Rotary Vane Pumps 1000ml

The KAJO vacuum pump oil 46 is made of high quality solvent raffinates.

The vacuum pump oil contains active ingredients to improve corrosion protection and aging stability, well as improvement of performance in the mixed friction range. Because of the narrow boiling range KAJO vacuum pumps oil has an extremely low vapor pressure and is therefore ideal for the lubrication of vacuum pumps.

Practical advantages:

• For air vacuum pumps, that pump against pressure which is higher than atmospheric pressure.
• For circulation systems, especially when high demands are made on the life of the oil filling

• Density at 15°C is 905 kg/m3 according to EN ISO 12185
• Viscosity at 20°C of 127 mm2/s in accordance with DIN 51562
• Viscosity at 40°C is 46 mm2/s in accordance to DIN 51562
• Viscosity at 50°C is 30 mm2/s in accordance with DIN 51562
• a viscosity at 100°C is 7.0 mm2/s in accordance to DIN 51562
• flash point is 200°C according to ISO 2592
• pour point (temperature at which it just does not flow at cooling) is -27°C according to ISO3016

The compressor oils of KAJO meet the highest requirements of DIN 51 506.

Different types of compressors, such as reciprocating and rotary compressors, compress air and gases; vacuum pumps are used to generate negative pressure.
The different compressor types place high demands on the lubricating oils.

Raw materials for compressor oils are paraffinic base oils with high natural viscosity index and a high flash point.

Equally important and as matter of course are an excellent demusibility and a low foaming tendency.

The function of the vacuum pump oils is the Lubrication of the moving parts that are thus protected from the wear.

Many compressors operate at high temperatures, so the oil, that is used, must have a good aging stability at a very low residue formation.

To reduce the wear, a lubrication in the upper temperature range and also in the cold state is demanded from the compressor oil.

This requires a good viscosity-temperature behavior of the oils.

The refining levels of the base oils and the alloy of the compressor oils of the KAJO-Compress - series is intended in that way,
that even at high compressor temperatures in the connected pipelines, formation of residues will be avoided.

Information for the disposal:
According to the Waste Oil Ordinance we are obliged to take back - free of charge - the following used oils:
combustion engine oils, gear oils, oil filters and oil waste regularly occurring with the oil changes. You can return to us the used oil in the amount according to the purchased quantity.
