With the powerful 150 W polystyrene cutter clean cable and pipe, as well as socket openings, regardless of the shape and size of the cut-outs can easily be created. The device can be operated with one hand, which allows for comfortable working due to its ergonomic shape and providing precise guidance. In addition, the polystyrene cutter is ready to cut after only five to eight seconds of heating up. It reaches temperatures of up to 600°C.
The two slotting plates are the perfect match for your polystyrene cutter. With the help of the large and small slotting plate, it is possible to make recesses and grooves into polystyrene boards. Both narrow and wide grooves and recesses are possible. The set groove width can be read off the scale. For this reason, slotting plates are an ideal aid for the clean installation of pipe or cable culverts and for composite thermal insulation systems (ETICS for short).
To ensure even cuts without a slotting plate are clean and precise, the set includes a guide rail for the polystyrene cutter. It is made of robust material and has a scale. Thanks to the adhesive attachment, the guide rail is placed on the workpiece and clamped. This ensures a stable positioning, so that the precision of the cuts is significantly increased, thus it enables exact cuts.
In addition, this set includes a flexible 300 mm blade, a hardened 200 mm blade and a hardened 150 mm blade. All three blades are made of a nickel-chrome alloy.
