The locks prevent your little ones from opening drawers and cupboards that might contain dangerous objects such as detergents, knives, medicine, or alcohol.
The magnetic cupboard lock completely closes doors and drawers, without leaving a clearance, without your baby’s pinching its fingers.
Whether it be in the bathroom or living room, the baby-proof lock can be easily fixed without the need of using screws or tools. The drawer lock is simply fixed to the inside of the door. Thus, it stays invisible and does not alter your interior. Note: For the adhesive tape to hold optimally, the surface of the piece of furniture should be smooth, clean, and dry.
The locks are suitable for most cupboard doors and drawers and can be fixed at different positions (at the top, bottom, or side). Tip: Use an unobtrusive sticker to mark the spot on the outside. It is there that the magnetic key is placed for opening.
The strong magnetic keys are effective for doors with a thickness of up to approx. 38 mm. To keep the keys safe, three magnetic plates with adhesive tape are included in the scope of delivery.
Whenever your child is not near, the child-proof locks can be deactivated by hand. Thus, you will be able to open the cupboards normally without key. This can for example be useful in the kitchen to have easier access to your equipment.
Note: Not only are the magnetic locks ideal for making your home child-proof, but can also serve in case you have curious cats, dogs, or other pets that love exploring.
