Wiltec Set Infrared Heating Panel 700W IR Heat Panel Electric Heater Radiator and Wi-Fi Thermostat

Compared to gas or oil heaters, infrared heating panels have one decisive advantage: They do not warm up the room air, but the objects inside the room such as walls, pieces of furniture, etc. With this white Wiltec heating panel HL1206P with 700 W (item no. 64394), you will allow the heat to disperse more evenly and more directly. Besides, the air is whirled less, reducing the dust suspended in the air. Consequently, one could say that the warmth produced by an infrared heating is “healthier” and that the room climate becomes more pleasant.

And our heating panels based on infrared technology have another advantage that must not be underestimated: the warm-up or cool-down time is not delayed. If necessary, they make for a higher room temperature immediately, this feature being particularly useful in spring and autumn, when it becomes rather cold in the evening after higher temperatures over the day. Thanks to its timeless design, the panel integrates in virtually every room and can be installed nearly everywhere in the house.

A quality becoming more and more crucial is the energy efficiency of heating panels, much better than that of common radiators. After all, the transformation rate is 98 %, a superb percentage. The flat and lightweight heating panel is equipped with a carbon heating element and has a ceramic infrared coating. An overheating protection ensures additional safety. The frame of the device is made of aluminium, its rear side of polyurethane and aluminium foil. With the help of the 1.9 m long cable, the device is connected to a socket and switched on with the on/off switched. The warmth will be perceptible after approx. 10 min.

Practical hint: At an average, approx. 75 W per m² are required for heating up a room with a normal height of 2.60 m. Consequently, a room measuring 15 m² produces an energy demand of 1125 W. Under these conditions, we would recommend using two 600-W panels.

Caution: The 1220 x 620 x 15 mm large panel is only designed for wall fastening. — As, during operation, it can reach temperatures of 80 °C to 100 °C, domestic animals, children, and vulnerable persons in particular must not be left unsupervised with the device. Do not cover the heater!

Thanks to the Wi-Fi thermostat included in the scope of delivery (item no. 64397), you can control the heating panel individually and remotely, e.g., from the sofa – and very easily with the “Smart Life” app.

This app, downloaded via the QR code given, has several useful features: adjustment of the temperature, week programme, countdown, simultaneous control of more than one device, sharing with other users, commuting from Fahrenheit to Celsius scale. After installing the app, the smart device is connected to the thermostat and set up. Please refer as well to the manual for precise instructions.

Thanks to the week programme and countdown, the operation of the thermostat plug and the heater can be automated and controlled depending on your individual needs: regular switch-ons, switch-offs after going to bed – there are many other comfortable adjustments thinkable.
