Thanks to the continuously variable adjustment, the intensity and spread of the spray cone can be adjusted quickly. If, for example, a fire has been contained, the amount of water can be reduced to avoid water damage in the surrounding area or rooms.
If the spray cone is set to a wide spread, the water jet can cover a large area. A wide spread also increases the cooling process and supports the extinction of fire. Cooling can also be achieved by choosing a setting with extremely small droplets. Comparing a set amount of water, small droplets have a larger surface area than large droplets and thus enable more effective cooling.
