With a power output of 450 watts and a steam vessel with an infinetly adjustable temperature control, this device creates water vapour with temperatures of up to 100°C, capable of reliably freeing the cloth of germs.
The textile face masks should thereby ideally be cleaned right after they have been worn in order to prevent germs from multiplying and coming into contact with the face, hands or other surfaces.
Attention:
It is important to always abide by the maximum temperature of the fabric the cloth face coverings consist of in order to prevent them from becoming permeable. Further make sure to consider other materials (such as rubber bands) that could sustain damage, if exposed to higher temperatures.
Please note:
This device was originally designed for steaming saussages in order to create the ideal hot dogs. Since the process of steaming saussages and sterilising cloth face coverings by steam cleaning them is actually the same and with the device offering enough space to simultaneously sterilise multiple masks, we simply adapted the device to the current virus situation in hope of keeping people safe.
