Depending on the type of food that you want to prepare, it is marinated with half a dessertspoonful of cooking oil and shortly rests. It is then that the food is placed into the 4.2 litres basket of the hot air fryer. Inside, the thin oil layer on the food and the hot air make for a crispy exterior and an optimal cooking. On the contrary, with a normal fryer, you need a large quantity of oil, that is very rich in calories and smells during frying. Furthermore, the oil in a normal fryer must regularly be exchanged and disposed of at the collection station.
The 1400 W hot air fryer is equipped with a stainless-steel heating element (SS304) and can individually be adjusted to a cooking temperature of between 80 °C and a maximum value of 200 °C. Besides for chips, the hot air fryer can therefore also be used for the preparation of meat or bread. Furthermore, the cooking time can be defined to a maximum of 30 minutes via the in-built timer. For safe frying, the device also has an overheating protection, anti-slip feet, and a protection cover covering the unlocking knob.
The cool touch handle makes for the fried food being well removable because the handle only heats up little during frying. Thanks to the non-stick coating of the frying basket, the food cooked can be easily taken out. Cleaning the device is easy, too, because the frying basket and the pan can be cleaned quickly with washing-up liquid, warm water, and a non-scrubbing sponge.
