The frame is ideally suitable for stacking logs that are approx. 35 cm of length. Using an appropriate base, it is possible to store even shorter logs without any problem in this firewood shelter.
Thanks to its 70 cm depth, you can stack your firewood in two ranges. Thus this firewood shelf is suitable for approx. 3.5 stacked cubic metres (steres). The weight of the wood makes for enough stability so that the free-standing wood shelter does not require additional fixing to the wall.
The steel frame of the firewood rack is covered with a corrosion-resistant powder-coating. This allows the firewood shelf to be suitable for outdoors, too.
Thanks to its pitched roof the firewood dump is optimally protected from rain and snow. That is why the shelter can be placed outdoors, in the garden or on the terrace. To protect the front and rear part of the stand against humidity, we include a fitting protective cover in the scope of delivery.
The two-part weather-protection tarpaulin is made of robut 420D Oxford fabric. The water-repellent PVC coating makes the tarpaulin particularly durable and stable to all climatic influences. The cover is fixed to the frame of the firewood shelter with the help of ribbons.
The zipper allows the dry wood to be taken out without effort. On the other hand, the sides of the shelf remain open. By this means, the firewood, being sufficiently ventilated, cannot mildew, despite the weather protection.
Our Toboli firewood shelves with protective cover are perfectly suitable to store your stock of wood in dry conditions and allows you to stack it neatly. Both the shelves (63516–63518) and protective covers (63519–63521), in different sizes, are available in our shop.
