The motor has an electromagnetic disc brake, which switches the motor off when it has reached the maximum at each end. Additionally, the motor has a built-in timer, which can be programmed with for the blinds to be opened or closed automatically at a pre-set time.
Besides its comfortable and mobile control, equipping your blinds with a motor has another advantage. It hinders anyone from lifting the blinds on the outside. Manually lowered blinds can be lifted and rolled back up, which cannot be done with the motorised blinds. Thus the motor provides more security and hinders thieves from breaking in.
This is an engine for roller shutters with a SW60 shaft (width across flats shaft diameter). If you wish to determine the shaft diameter, this can be done by the width of the roller slats without having to open the roller shutter box. If the slats have a width of 40 – 60 mm, the SW60 shaft can be used.
Also the engine is IP44 graded, which means it can be used in rooms with humidity, as well as on the outside.
